Darby Porter

Darby is a senior chemistry major with a minor in Neuroscience. She is from Columbia, SC and has been a member of the Neuroscience Club since fall 2020. On campus, she also volunteers for the Office of Undergraduate Research as a Magellan Ambassador and works in the Zhu Neuropharmacology Laboratory investigating neuroAIDs and drug addiction. Outside of neuroscience, Darby volunteers for CAN Community Health raising awareness for HIV and AIDs in the Midlands. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hanging out with her two cats, and going up to Lake Murray. Darby’s favorite thing about neuroscience is the vast amount of information yet to be discovered!
