Sarai Deese

Sarai is a Sophomore in the Honors college on a dual degree track majoring in Public Health and Psychology. She is from Charlotte, NC and has been a member of Neuroscience club since fall 2021. Outside of the club, Sarai is a research assistant in the COLAB (Community-Oriented Lab for Autism and Behavioral Interventions) department at the Institute for the mind and brain and is a member of REF club. Her academic interests are rural maternal and youth mental health and disability in education. In her free time, she enjoys photography, circle-based artwork, and being outside. Sarai's favorite thing about neuroscience are the interconnections between structure and reactions.
